The Office of Medical Student Research is committed to assisting students and their mentors to find and participate in research experiences. Through our programs and listings, students can investigate a wealth of research opportunities here at UNC or around the world. Current mentors or individuals who would like to become a mentor, can list opportunities with the Office or discover resources to help them make the most of the mentoring process.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to NIH regulations, international research will not be funded through the STRT T35 grant this year. Applications for international research are eligible to be  funded with Medical  Alumni funds . These slots are expected to be highly competitive, so please be aware , and be sure to concurrently pursue any other funding options for international research (including mentor funds).
